Another Ohio-area wrench session at Corbin's?

Well, it's been too long since we had a local gathering. I think most everyone had a good time coming out here, so I thought I'd see if you all want to do it again. Was thinking sometime around the weekend of Sept 6th? What do you guys think? Even though I spent the whole day of the last gathering installing motor mounts, I had a great time. I'd like to do it again while the weather is still nice.

Post up if/when you're available or interested.

I will be there. I cant pass up that nice 3 mile long rode to get some good runs on. Also need to come get my flashlight you stole from me. :D

Don't forget that 8mm socket, Keith. You know I never did find that? Mike H probably took it.

I wanna get some dm runs on that road also. Maybe get some pointers from the tuning gurus too :D

Did I mention I've got another big pile of wood for the bonfire? All flammables are off-limits to attendees, though. JEFF SCOTT, this means YOU!

sounds like another good time to me. I just ordered my SMC Akly injection and all the wide band stuff. mabey we can put one of them in. Or just sit and watch RJ work on his truck again. Mabey we can do some racing on that nice long road next to you house and make a nice video out of it.

Well get this...... I happen to have one extra set of wheels off my ty (stocker) with some old worn out tires. I've been saving those since the GREAT BEND NATS. And I have 4 tires & wheels off of the wifes BMW (same bolt pattern)..

So that could be a TOTAL of 3 trucks outfitted with burn-able rubber ? Any takers ? Anyone wanna pull the front shaft to TRUE UP some tires ?

I could be persuaded to bring them down with my digital camcorder and shoot some video if we had some participants that wanted to vaporize some rubber?

I may be in for the 6th if I can get an air intake figured out for the Sy. I had the stock tube going over the fan shroud with a K&N stuck on the end but only had one setup between the Braphoon and the Sy, so depending on which truck I drove, it got the filter. So I sold the Braphoon and had to give the guy the filter as well, and the Sy has been sitting ever since. I have the battery relocated so there is lots of room to work with (if thats possible in these trucks) I just can't seem to find a good piece of pipe or hose or something to stick on the turbo. Any of you guys have any ideas?? I checked out the links page and there is a site that sells the Cobra Head intake that might do it, just need to get some measurements first. Here's the link of the ones that I was looking at. http://shop.airflowonline.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=AFSI&Category_Code=RHC

Pull my shaft?? Hell yeah. My PROPshaft, that is! I could be persuaded to burn some tires up if you want to bring them down, Todd. If someone would show Mike H how to remove his, I'm sure he wouldn't hesitate either. :)

Brian, I was looking at those Cobra heads too. Daron has one on his rather large (4" inlet) turbo, and I know I've seen several others. My PT54 sits much closer to the radiator so I can't get the plastic elbow I was using back on. I'll probably go the cobra route as well.

I have transportation arranged for a total of 6 tires. I wouldnt mind however verifying that the BMW wheels will actually clear the rear drums on a SyTy however. The bolt pattern is the same I know that, but they are only 15" wheels.. I think they will be OK. I cant check them against mine because I put the LS1 brakes on the rear of mine YEARS ago.

I will go but have a few requirements.

Large stack of wood, and 10 gallons of gas. Antifreeze won't work, sorry.

Make sure you bring some flame resistant clothing this time! (maybe some sunglasses too)

Maybe if the Sy isn't on the road by then, i'll ride out with you. How did those wheels ever turn out? I have a couple different sets now that we can toss on for the trip if your interested.

Holy Crap am I bored.

it's 11pm and I don't have shit to do here at work. I left the book Im reading at home, have no homework since classes haven't started yet, I've looked at everything the net has to offer, and Im broke this week so i can't even buy anything online.

Im starting to hate this shift. (3 till 12pm) I could be out right now with all my friends killing brain cells. Instead, Im here working a steady job w/good benefits, and paying my bills.... I do have the coolest ride of all of em' though... :drinking:

Just needed to vent.
