Another "Big Gun" member...

Finally had a chance to drive to SAR in San Antonio TX yesterday.

Here are the details.

1st shake down pass right off the trailer.
BFG drag radials set at 30psi (all four).
turbo time custom cam chip set on the highest level out of 3.
Truck race weight 3,275 lbs.
93 octane fuel with alky set on max.
Max boost was 20-21 psi.
Torque Converter switch was not armed.
motor has only 250 miles and running "break-in" zinc oil. (can't wait for some royal purple).

Track officials asked me to slow it down and install a roll cage.
Pretty much finished me for the night. My Pops told me the crowd went nuts watching it run though.
Unfortunately I was not able to record the run with datamaster. Laptop in small truck what a PITA. Going to install a universal Laptop mount.

I wish 130mph...it was only 126mph. Im uploading a video on youtube. It's not that great of a video but it's better then nothing.

I need to improve 60ft time...should of dropped rear tires down to 20psi.

I wanted to see what the truck would run in street mode. I was not expecting that MPH.

I don't think I ever made one or if I did it was a long time ago.
The roll cage is going to add about 60lbs. according to the installer.
I kind of gave up on the diet because of the LQ4 motor.
Although interesting enough the V8 aluminum heads weighted 22lbs. less than the V6 vortec heads. No telling what it will weight after the conversion.
The typhoon will be inheriting the sy v6 combo when the Lq4 is ready.

Why not just put it in the Typhoon? I wouldn't want to mess with sucess in the Sy.
