Almost there. Motor Pics

Just some updates after months of standing around with nothing to do.. Some people might know my truck it was forsale last year in the summer from a board member in Alabama (his board name slipps me). It had a built motor .030 over with ross pistons, eagle rods, brodix heads, Electromotive Tec 2 stand alone, 60-1 turbo, 50lbers, ATR headers, dequick dual A-2-A and a custom .450 lift cam. After realizing it was blown up when i bought it, i performed much needed surgery the turbo also broke the shaft.

Now we have a rebuilt bottom end (it needed a crank, 1 rod and ALL bearings) 97' vortec heads mild exhaust porting and clean up on the intake side, same cam,Mccoy A-2-A, stock ECU, stock turbo and no more money. IM not upset about the motor cause now i have a setup thats more reliable for regular use and when i ask someone for advice they dont look at me like im crazy. My new converter should be here sometimes next week when that gets here i can put it in.

Re: Almost there. Motor Pics

Nice pulleys, id like to have them on my truck, but like you said they are pricey, Heres all the pulleys that March makes for out trucks and the prices i got from Summit.

3 piece underdrive kit, crank, water pump and alt pulley #4310----166.88
P/S Pulley #610---74.88
Water pump dress up cap that goes on end of the pulley #330----23.88
A/C Clutch cover #376---87.81
Idler Pulley #725----74.88
Tensioner Pulley #710----73.95
Billet Alternator fan #221----42.88

And you can get a chrome cover that goes around the a/c compressor for around 20 bucks to make it look better, i think Mr. Gasket makes it. These would look sweet with a chrome water pump and alternator.

Hope that helps you out.

Re: Almost there. Motor Pics

Just wanted to update this post with a bit of information March just gave me. If you are looking for the NON-underdriven pulley set, it is part # 4465. Just ordered a full round of pulleys from Summit, and like you folks said... EXPENSIVE. But the reduced rotating mass should be nicely worth it. :)
