Sorry guys, I have been extremely frustrated trying to get back in here! I now have, (are you ready for this) a total of 4 passwords! I think I finally found out why I could never enter, it is because I have saved to favorites the BB board rather than the site, damn! (Opps, am I allowed to say that?? I would have changed my post, except for the fact that I already had clicked on , “submit) Anyways, to answer the question of how I did the burn out, I tied the ass end, (my trailer hitch) unto the hydro pole in the back ground, with a huge chain! I locked my front axles with the vacuum pod switch from within the cabin, had three spotters, one person spotting to ensure that my right front would lite up, one to watch for the left one to ignite, and a third to stop me if the pole started leaning! At that point my front end started doing a clockwise 360, which caused a Porsche owner to scramble to take his piece to safety! I had to start again with yet another person holding my front end from doing donuts! This time it worked! I went through the gears till I hit 5,000 rpm in 3rd, which is approximately 100 mph! After 15 seconds or so, I had to bail, for the cabin was filled with smoke!
Joe, I use the Astro Van case which supposedly is the same as the typhoon’s! The hood is a one of a kind, I hired a fibreglass shop to make it so that it would not bleed off pressure to the sides, for it is a true ram air! I have a small block 400 N/A in it and hope to run 10's on May 17th!
Tydriver, when you removed the front shafts, you obviously had to install stubs to hold the front hub assemblies together, yes?
