A small update on #0061 (NOT 56k friendly!)

Some of you might remember my post with some picks awhile back, I've changed a few things. If you recall I had setup 4 injectors infront of the turbo, well after testing, turns out it doesn't work. the fluid wood enter and come right back out the surge slots. so I've gone to a a/a IC, the core measures 18x12x4.5, it wasn't easy to fit but as you can see it does. You might also notice the injector on the charge pipe, that's how I'll be introducing the alcohol, it will be controled by the efi computer. And my latest addition are the six individual egt sensors, you can't really see the sensors but I've posted a pic of the amplifiers they plug into. hope you enjoy the pictures.

lookin good Al. btw...i finally installed the tranny i bought from you and it works great. Well..worked great after i realized there was no filter installed in it anyway :lol:

This brings up a question (I haven't crawled under the Sy to look)....
I know Shaun's Pikes Peak Sy, and others, have went with bed-mounted radiators. Has anyone looked at us 'non-race' guys doing an engine radiator mount package (maybe two rectangular radiators in series beneath the bed, so we can mount a BA A2A intercooler in place of the factory radiator?

It would be so nice not to have to try and stuff all of that plumbing up front!

BTW - awesome looking engine compartment! Gold reflective barrier only available from NASA??

you should ask Chris at CBR Performance he has that set up on his TTv8 s10

ps - Al does live in Florida so it is possible that he went to NASA for parts

al Dustain had a bed mounted rad on his truck and daily drove the pee outta it with no problems,

I considered rear mounting the rad and I really got close to doing it but I decided "it's gotta stop somewhere". the gold reflective stuff can be bought at a couple of race suppliers, it's not cheap, it cost $30/ft. as far as the headers are concerned, I made those myself. The clamps are wiggins clamps, they come from aviation but they're being used alot in racing now, they make removal so much easier, but ofcourse (like everything that's cool) they're not cheap! here is a link to the clamps.
