its most likely going to get bought by someone paying WAY too much for it, that white one that was in NJ and rusted out went for way too much. Ill probably register and bid or watch it for a day or two first, but getting over the bridges into NY with a trailer is probably going to be like $200 in tolls alone, plus all the bullshit fees, doesn't leave much room for bidding.

Says it has a salvage certificate, so it doesn't even have a title technically. Same way I bought my GTO, it would need to be rebuilt, all parts documented with VIN from doaner vehicles or salvage yard that sold them, then needs to go to state inspection facility where they check the vehicle for proper repair and function, as well as making sure none of the parts are hot. More trouble than its worth for a Black/Black.

I did a trip last October onto Long Island to pick up Mojo's Syclone. I forget the exact name of the bridge, Thornsdyke I believe. Tolls were $27 each way. The eastbound lady just asked if I had commercial plates. The westbound guy made me dig out the registration. Both my Super Duty and the trailer I was using have Arizona tags, but they are NOT "commercial". So that may make a difference, but I have no idea.

Commercial vs. Non commercial makes a huge difference, that $27 toll usually turns into a $68 toll if it's commercial.
Either way, tolls might not be $200, but they will be damn close to $150 when all is said and done.
Yes, but to get to the Throggsneck, you have to cross the George Washington Bridge, which would be at least $29 last time I checked, or preferably I'd go Outer Bridge to the Varrazano but that would be $29+ and $42+ but less distance, not to mention the ~$24 on the GSP up and back.

I have no idea where the money goes, but it certainly doesn't go into roads or transportation. When I went to NY last month to pick up the Silverado I found on Craigslist, Google maps had me on roads that were only partially or not paved at all, and it was a well used road with houses on it! I was like "you gotta be shitting me", ended up finding a longer way back so I could stay on pavement and not **** my trailer up on pothole riddled unpaved bullshit.

Nearing the antique threshold (25 years from production date) for a limited production vehicle, replacement parts prices will no doubt soar. The cladding and F/R braces alone are worth at least $3k. Drivetrain $3-5k. Wheels and caps $750. Interior, any ones guess.
I think the hammer will fall around $3500 but after all the hidden fees, I agree with you that it will be more than the profit is worth.

He probably grazed deer on left side, lifting it and it landed on windshield/roof. The resulting blood, fur, sinew, etc probably warranted the biohazard decal.

Maybe a moose, but I don't buy the deer story. maybe if it was one big mofo or the truck was doing 180mph and the deer went up in the air a few hundred feet and then came down on the windshield/roof. just my opinion of course, but I have hit a couple of deer in my spotty tenure of having a license.
