alright now that page says the headlight buckets should be charcoal grey, I thought it should be argent grey to match the cladding, which is it? and whats the paint code for charcoal grey?

Well I know this will most likley muck up the works but my 92' Teal / Teal Ty has Charcoal buckets and is all orig. / never painted. If that makes any difference? If not, please feel to disregard :lol: . But then again, I still don't know for sure if my cladding was painted body color by PAS or the delivering dealer, still working on finding that out.

ya no kidding. too bad it's only the front that looks this good. I still have to do everything behind the windshield. I'v already spent 2k to get this far I dont know if I can do the rest of it or not.

Ok, back on the subject of HOW MANY green gray '92's are out there. Owning one makes me very curious. This is what I've found personally. On the Sportsmachines site I've found 7.......numbers are 1277,1475, 1697, 1761, 1883, 2407, 2491 and then mine 1635. If your number is not on this list post yours and maybe we can finally see how many are alive and well.

Danny, does yours have a roof rack?.....Bored at work today, I was going thru truck numbers / pictures listed above on Sportmachines and found mine to be the only one without a roof rack. Thanks

According to this all Forest Greens were body color around the bezels and grille.Dunno if it's true,but IMO argent bezels and grille really look better.

That's a fantastic site!! I haven't read that since probably before I bought my truck 5 years ago.. the differences mean a lot more to me now!! Props to whoever is responsible for tracking all those details. :tup:

I have #2075 Green/Grey with a green grill and a roof rack. I will probably be removing the roof rack sometime in the near future though.

Thanks the input guys. Keep the updates coming. Knowing how many Green/Grays they are will help me make my decision on keeping mine or not.

Also......while looking on Ebay found #2396, repainted all green.

Just as a note, 92 and 93 grills were different in terms of paint. I am pretty sure all 92 grills were gray/agrent like the syclone, but most 93 were body color.

I have a 1993 Ty and, although I have no idea what color argent is (sorry, I am a newbie) my grill is a very dark gray, claddings a light gray. I;ve had previous damage to the hood, but the color of the grill has never changed. (Of course, I can be totally wrong)

I have a 1993 Ty and, although I have no idea what color argent is (sorry, I am a newbie)

Argent is the factory cladding color, a medium metallic grey. The headlight buckets and grille were a darker "charcoal" or "off-black" if you will.

FWIW the Argent was also a standard color on regular S-series or the era. In case anyone cared... :roll:
