BG is a lil' over a 1 hour drive for me and is structured to support car events but I think Charlotte NC would be an awesome spot for the next Nats. The trip would be rather refreshing as well.

they want a zillion dollars to rent that 4 lane track, that option was explored years ago, its in no way possible or practical to hold a small event at that track.

You could easily tie in with a local autocross group. There's plenty in the area (I'll be heading down tomorrow) and it wouldn't be too astronomical.

$10,000 for a 1 day track rental is too much, aint happening even if we group up with an auto x group.

Their would be a ton of down time between runs if all 4 lanes are open. You would be lucky to get 30 SyTy's to race at a Nats.

Looks like I am out when ever this happens if this happens, very busy at work here and was hoping to get to the 2015 Nats but it is already almost April with no date or location chosen for event.
