2012 NASTE meet?

DISCLAIMER: This in no way is me volenteering to put something together, there are many others much better at doing that.
Just wondering if anything is in the works? This warm weather, fresh inspection on the Sy, and figuring out what is wrong with my Ty(broken rocker stud) I'm looking forward to a meet.

Yeah,we were discussing this yesterday.The thought at the moment is to have it around the first week of June,better warmer weather,much bigger participation at the car show.Last year it was the first week of the car show and it rained on us so that was kind of a wash out.Also in addition to the venison kabobs,hot dogs ,hambergers,ect.,Karen wants to make a big pot of venison bar-b-que.Were open to any new ideas.Swap meet?Jeff--you'll have to do the computer work,as I'm still computer stupid.

I was thinking about a cruise to get to your place. Last year I drove up 611 from down near where I live. It turns into a pretty scenic drive once it starts to follow the river. I was thinking that we all meet in a place to be determined and cruise as a group to get to your place since it is not far from that road. I will look into some details of meet up spots and such and let everyone know.

What about a track rental?

A track rental is hard to do in the summer time unless we do it on a weekday. I am sure it can be done, but I believe it will be more expensive. We considered a track rental for last years NASTE event at autoaddictions, but there wasn't a lot of interest. Maybe we can re-visit it for the fall get together.

This is what I am talking about. I think it was 90 minutes for me to get there, and 60 or more of it was nice roads and cool scenery. I think if we all me near the old Willow Grove Air Force Base it would be a good cruise. Too much longer and we risk one of the trucks breaking down.

611 between Doylestown and Plumsteadville (north of the base) is a pretty fun ride too. The "blacktop" is smooth, white cement with long straightaways and not too many cops. :tup:

That is the route I am thinking. Gather somewhere near the base and head up 611 the whole way.

Sounds like fun, caravans are always a good time. Sy/Ty's in #'s brings even more funny looks. LOL. We are west of Lehigh Valley but might have to head more south to meet up with everyone. 611 is even easy for the NJ guys.

A few of us are hitting up Atco raceway on Saturday for a car show, swap meet, and open test and tune. 70 degrees and sunny... Weather looks good! Let's get some more people to go for a spring warm up

if you guys wanted we could do another at my house. the yard is plenty big enough and then head to atco or it would prob make sense to hit up atco early then my house after lunch for dinner drinks and whatever.

I might be able to do a meet at my house too. I'm 20 mins from atco and I'm pretty good friends with the track manager. I've got parking for as many trucks as we can get, a 30x30 shop with a lift if anyone needs to wrench and an inground swimming pool. I'll provide the place if someone else steps up to arrange the food and a porto-John. :lol: just another thought.
