2004 Minnesota Summer Gathering After a little thought and conversation with local SyTy'ers I have come up with what sounds like a good agenda.
WHAT: 2004 Summer SyTy Cruz and Gathering
WHEN: Friday July 9th for the cruz and Saturday July 10th for the car show gathering.
WHERE:
FRIDAY NIGHT CRUZ;
Cruise Night. Start location is at the Lakeville High School.
Registration is at 4:00 pm
Starts at 6:45 pm and leaves from LHS N. on Dodd Blvd. to Cedar Ave., S. to 202nd St. W. to Holyoke, S. through downtown to 210th St., W. to Dodd, N. to Co. Rd. 50, left to Ipava Ave, N. to Co. Rd. 46.(End).
After the cruz I thought it would be fun to do a quick photo shoot with all of the trucks that can make it. We can do this at our Fire Station #4, it has a great back drop for photos.
There is a dance, live bands, beer tents and tons of things to do on Friday night for those interested in hanging out after the cruz. There is plenty of parking at my house and I am only two blocks from down town for any one interested!
SATURDAY CAR SHOW GATHERING;
This will be held at Antlers Park. We will be joining other cars and trucks at the Pan O Prog car show.
Show set up time 8:00 am
Show starts at 9:00 am and runs until 3:00 pm
There is a concetion stand at the show and restroom facilities also (always a good thing) plus the show is in the park and right on the Lake Marion Beach.This is a beutiful location and having attended the show in the past I can say it is a very nice show.
HOW TO GET THERE:
(due to the construction impending on Interstate 35 in the Lakeville area I am going to give the most convienient but slightly out of the way directions to both locations.
LAKEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL; From Interstate 35 north or south bound. Take the Co. Road 70 (210th St.) exit. Take Co 70 east 2 miles to Dodd Blvd. At Dodd Blvd. you will want to take a left and go north 2 miles to 192nd St. Take a left and this will put you into the east parking lot of the Lakeville High School.
ANTLERS PARK;From Interstate 35 north or south bound. Take the Co. Road 70 (210th St.) exit. Take Co 70 east 2 miles to Dodd Blvd. At Dodd Blvd. you will want to take a left and go north to Kenwod Trail. Take a left on Kenwood Trail and take that to Ipava Av. Take another left on Ipava and go one block to the park enterance.This will be to your right.

Please post here or send me a PM if you are able to attend (and also if you know of others that are not on the board that can come please include them as well)so I can get a rough count idea to give to the car show people in order to save spaces at the show.
