Just picked up a 92 w/108k mi. The previous owner SY2675 brought it back to life did all the maintence and gave me a hell of a deal. Getting used to the truck still, dont want to blow it up the first week. I am keeping a close eye on the boost gauge as it has no cat. One thing i did notice if your cruising in OverDrive the tq converter will unlock if you floor it and the truck builds boost but doesnt move at the coresponding speed. I would imagine this builds a tremendous amount of heat and i backed at immediatley. It has done this twice, so for now i guess i cruise in drive untill i learn how to drive this truck.

i was accelrating yes, beating on it no. it was going to go no matter what, unfortunatley this isnt my first time with a deal like this. shotty rebuild will only last so long. trans would slip pretty good and bang 1st to 2nd so this morning was kinda of inevitable.

it's not that bad. and the 700r4's aren't that bad either good build. try to contact waller. i got 2 of his trannies in my truck, and they are getting alot of beating, and i got more power than stock and they survive.
