As long as it isn't at some ice skating rink / roller coaster ride that doubles for a racetrack in November....

The committee is a 14 year old South Carolinian who decides the fate of Nationals from a Ouija board.

I can only speak for my part (Autocross coordinator), but things are rolling and we do have a location. A formal announcement will be given by those above my pay grade.

You mean to say you get paid? How do I join?

You do get paid.....in TYRODD kisses. Not sure what the conversion rate is on that, but I'm gonna guess I'm not getting a fair shake.

In all honesty (for those who don't know that we're kidding), NO.....the Nationals planning committee (and no committee that I've ever been a part of - GAST, SyTyShindig, etc...) does not get paid. And that's the way it should be. You put in the work because you want to see the event be a success and you have a specific skillset to make that happen. Compensation doesn't even enter your mind.

Make it fair to all....put it in the middle of the USA. After all, it's about the people nowadays, not the trucks. That's just what I've been hearing lately. ;)

I like T-bones idea. The heck with the continental US, have it in Alaska. The two trucks that actually make the the trip can have all the trophy's.

In all seriousness, the peanut gallery is getting anxious, so if I was a paid member of the committee, I would be coming up with an answer. LOL. If they pay is truly TYRODD kisses, than I would absolutely....volunteer.

If we have it in Pa.,we'll probably get more truck than anywhere else.Just look at how many trucks we had at Franks (autoadditions) and that was just a local meet.

How many did you guys end up with? I think we had 14 at our last local BBQ (I didn't think that was too bad).

TYRODD

My ass. Look at it.
Re: '13 Nats

I would have no problem flying to a PA Nats. A MANDATORY trip to the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville would make a lot of pants happy.
