Well guys, not gonna get my big gun title this year. Money and time has been tight, only been at the track a couple of times. Managed a 11.27@ 124.3mph in the 1/4, 1/8 was 7.19@98.2mph. This is with a crappy 60' 1.77. This is still a street driven truck with full int and ac. Truck weighs 4000lbs with me in it. I am only running 18psi with e98, I still have 6 or 8psi to play with so im sure a 10 sec run should be attainable. Next year plan is 4 drag raidials, traction bars and a 2 step. That should help my 60' enough that I can probably run a high 10 on only 18psi, we will have to wait and see.....If not its time to turn up the boost. I would have this year, but didnt feel like breaking anything since I drive to and from the track, about 100mile round trip.

Great times! You sure have the MPH for 10's. How much Boost did you Launch at? Were you spinning?

I tried playing with the amount of boost quite a bit, changing the boost map on the bs3 to have the boost come in slower which did help, but my tires just can't hold the power. (yes they did spin). 8-12psi (depending on track conditions) seemed to give me my best 60', anything more just blew the tires loose.

Get some caltracs they work great, mine seem to leave best around 10psi more than that it just kills tires

Nice mph for sure. Congrats.

How are you getting the e98? Station or delivered in a 50gal barrel to your house?

55gal drums. I have a pump gas tune for the street so I don't use as much e98. I went through 200 gal of e98 last year with all the tuning, I drive to and from the track so on track days I drain the pump gas, fill her up with e98, and drive to the track.

Thats a great way to go. Like using race fuel for a third of the price. And your pump gas tune is a safe, low boost, low timming tune?

Yep, pump gas tune is about as safe as it gets. I drive the truck on the street quite often. Also made the 5-6hr drive to the naste meet last year with it. Have had no probs driving on the street, even with the half filled block on e98 or pump gas. Still made 500hp on the "safe" tune.:rotf:

You might find that mixing your e98 with 93 to make e85 makes more power than just pure e98. In all my testing, I did.

Nice times man... Keep at it!

Yeah, we talked about that on the phone. Since most of my tuning is done wouldn't I have to start from square one? I'm making plenty of power, trying to do it on 18psi to be easy on her. Made 726hp/811ft @24 psi on Campbells dyno. Just really don't want to push it if I don't have to. Goal was always 10.99. If I can do it on 18psi I will be that much happier.
