Well that is an Accel 1000 CFM Throttle Body found on Ebay "Brand New" never used.
I don't like the BBK units, springs are week and the throttle stick open a bit.
Performance products makes ones but i found this one and went with it.
I have to modify the throttle linkage but the trans fits right up.

I am disappointed in your intake... I would think you would have taken the time to use a little sandpaper and then after 12 hours of sanding another 2 or 3 withfinal polishing. I mean c'mon you gotta stop slackin off!
btw That makes 2 trucks we are both familiar with using that tb.
Oh and Keep the batteries for the video camera in the charger we're going to take a short roadtrip in a week or 2.

Give me a call! Let me know when and where! Debating on sending the headers out or just stick them on the way they are! I really wanna do the custom look and get them coated but then it took me a week to get the intake back. I want the original intake look just in a durable hard finish that won't get ruined by coolant or gas. I will be getting it together hopefully by the end of Jan and will need to bring it down to the shop so Harry can get the new tune figured out on race gas.

Hey Ralph, the great pics you posted got me thinking about the EGR passages. Since you've got the EGR blockoff plate, did you also weld the riser passage on the bottom side of the intake shut, in order to keep the heat completely out of the intake/upper plenum assembly? ...something I was thinking about doing once I get to that point. Make that three of us. These have been around for awhile. Most people didn't buy them because the BBK's were half the price back then. These are a superior quality piece to anything on the market and was the perferred TB for Lingenfelter builds. I got mine through them back in 2002. They even came with the correct cable kit on them. It was something Ligenfelter modified for their Vettes and Camaro builds.
This is on my modified intake for vortecs that FlowTech did for me. I had the TB intake lip welded in several places so the hose coupler would stay on. It had a problem of coming off. Also had a billet bracket made so I could to bolt to the inlet pipe. This aided in holding the pipe on under high boost. I could probably have another made if you guys need want them. Since the TB inlet bolts on to the TB, some people just welded their inlet pipe directly to this instead of using couplers and clamps. That works also if you have a coupler break somewhere for vibration relief.
Here is a pic of the intake along side of the a Pontiac intake.
The Jet Hot intake looks great! Hopefully you will up and running soon!

Its like 300 bucks to do our headers in the new Extreme Sterling good to 1700 hundred degrees and looks very similar to the Sterling just a bit duller but looks hot as hell.
I just wanna get my truck back together and then decide what to do, JET HOT is only 80-90 miles from my house. So to take them off and get them there is nothing.

The intake looks good!
I personaly dont like jet hots products they never looks "right" to me theres a place up here in canada what offer an internal exhaust coatng called HMC, and withing 20 seconds of your car being shut off you can touch the headers then they'll be cool. the HMC coating lowers outside header temps by 60% so you cna get the really good "polished " ceramic look with turbo cars
they are called fireball coatinging, they will coat my headers, turbo housings, down pipes Inside wth thier HMC coating, and the outside with there "polished" finish ceramic coat. for $600 CDN.
The intake looks good!

1,700* is pushing it with most pistons. I was running just at 1,700* at the 30# boost level on coated pistons and high octane with my AWD Ty. The high heat softened a couple of pistons and I had to replace them. I guess my heat limit on my build is maxed out about there. I too, have Jet Hot 2000 (black) on my ATR's and it has held up well. I am changing my build this winter which will allow me to push it some more.
