ZR1's on stock height Typhoon?

My truck has at least 5" of tire to fender gap in the back. I was thinking about ordering some Polished ZR1's for it, but thought it may look silly being that high in the back.

Anyone have some pics? I could always lower it. :)

if you have some pics, I would appreciate one posted.

Pretty sure it's not lowered in the back...

I remember when Nick Steffens put ZR1's on his Ty before lowering it, and the gap seemed worse than with the stock rims.

Get some Belltech drop leafsprings from Summit and it'll sit like this:

thanks guys. I did order a "lowering kit" from "bigtime" but wasn't sure if i wanted to alter my 16k miles truck by lowering it.....my stock wheels have blizzacks on them so i want some summer tires. Figured it may be cheaper to just buy ZR1 tire/wheel combo than to buy just tires for the stock wheels.

I wouldn't let that bother you. It's easily reversible if you want to go back to stock.

I think I can get polished ZR1's delivered for about $1100.... or spend $700 on tires / balancing..... for the extra $400.00 i guess i will go with the BIG FAT tires. :)
