List members,

Anyone who has the 56mm front and 38mm rear ZR1, can you tell me how the
rear rims fit without spacers or adapters. Are the rear tires sticking
in or are they pretty much stock looking compared with the fronts. A
photo would be nice to see.

Thank You,

I have a set of 17x11 36mm and 17x9.5 38mm Rim on my Corvette. I have been thinking about throwing the set on my syclone to work the flat spots out from sitting for a year and half. The biggest issue that has been stoping me is that my Vette has 13" front brakes so my Sy rims will not fit. If I do I will take some pictures of the rear rims for you.

I think Rick is asking about how the 17 x 9.5 +38mm will fit the rear. We know the 17 x 9.5 +56mm has the correct offset for a perfect match on the front. That wheel would need a spacer on the rear to match perfectly but the 17 x 9.5 +38 mm should be very close with no spacer. Off the top of my head, I think we calculated it to be within 1/8" - 1/4" of being perfect with no spacer but I have not installed a set. I have not sold a set to be able to get feedback either. Most people have been going wtih the 17 x 11 on the rear which does have the perfect offset to match the front.

Jim,

You are correct. I know how the 11" rims with the 50mm fit for the rear and have seen many Sy/Ty's with them and they do fit perfect. I just wanted to see a photo with someone using the 9 1/2 rear with the 38mm
