ZR-1 Wheel's

I have the 17x9.5 ZR-1 style wheel's off a 96' Camaro SS. I did a search and did not come up with an answer to my question. I am having a balancing problem and my wheel's are straight, also added a set of Sumitomo HTRZ's in 275/40/17. The installer is using a new Hunter-Douglas high-speed balancer on the rim's. Did anyone else with these rim's have to use weight's on the outside? My installer is using inside weight's, so they will not be scratched on the outer-edge of the rim. The rear's have a 1 1/4" spacer so the wheel's look correct. Any info would be appreciated.

My Grand Sports balanced out with all the weights inside. Before adding weights we tried each tire in different positions on the rim. That way we had to add the minimum amount on each.

Thank's for the info! I had the shop rebalance them and they at 0 on the balancing machine. The shop owner say's the wheel's are not hub-centric and I am going with new lug's that will prevent the small gap that is showing up and causing the vibration. I will know tomorrow when they are installed.
