Ive been looking threw the interwebs and not coming up with the GM part number for this.

Thanks

Re: ZQ8 steering #?

There are many posts on here discussing the ZQ8 and what they are fitted to, although they may not quote the GM part number.

They are fitted to the mid 90's Jeep Grand Cherokee. Try Rockauto for a recon.

Interesting article here-

Be mindful that ZQ8's were fitted to 2WD trucks and also Z28's etc and have different internal stops fitted to cater for different tire clearance issues etc. One point most people forget is that our trucks being AWD have front driveshafts (CV joints) that may not take too kindly to being operated with a box that provides a tighter turning circle. That said, you would probably get a tire rub first, but worth remembering.

The steering stops on a T-series are on the lower a-arms. The knuckle contacts these stops, even if steering box internal stops allow further travel. So the front axles won't be affected by steering box changes.

Some wheels wider than stock 8-1/2" rub on the upper rear side of the upper a-arm, and on the tie rod in the opposite direction. My 9-1/2" A-molds do.

Thanks for adding that detail Dave for clarification.
When I added that comment at the end of my post, in my minds eye, I was thinking about all the front end suspension variations that people on here have on their trucks, particularly non stock A arms and coilovers etc; although with you pointing that out, those thoughts obviously remained in my minds eye only. Glad you picked it up.
