Me and six gun went to newport sat. for a little fun. Took a couple guy for a ride in the truck. Well anyway back to the kill I asked this guy in a zo6 vette with a s/c if he would race me and he made the mistake of saying yes. Well we were going to race just for the fun of it but wound up having to race in the first round.
We pull up to the line and I do my same old thing set there and wait for the other guy to do his burnout to heat his d/r. (you know it just make me look like I'm going to have the shit kicked out of me)He finaly gets staged and the light goes green. I do believe it is in the next second that he realized what a mistake he had made. As he hits the gas hard all he can do is watch the little black truck (that didnt do a burnout) leave him like he was in a geo
. I think he gave up before half track. It must have been a bad feeling seeing v6 pickup pull away from him. I found out later that the vette had a lingfelter(spelling)motor in it and was running 4.5 5 psi of boost.He said it dynoed 580. I am sure if it had been 1/4 mile racing he would have come around me but alas it was only 1/8 mile. I know there will be the nonbelievers well all I can say is I have it on video and it dont lie!!
