I have heard varying opinions here.
I know that the engine will pretty much go to hell if you allow it to detonate.
I also know that the transmission doesn't hold up to the power and torque that the motor is putting out, especially if you start to beef up the motor.
Basically I'm looking for a hotrod (Read Toy), something that I can drive a couple of times a week (at the most), enjoy and tinker with, but I dont want to have a vehicle that is a total pain in the ass.
I guess what my question is: What has been your experience good/bad with your syclone or typhoon and was it worth it to you.
I am considering purchasing one of these trucks or a TTA, but I do like the looks of the truck better (just like the fact that the TTA is more reliable out of the box).
Also are there aftermarket parts available that will allow you to fix the problems (A.K.A. is there a way to put a th400 into a syclone or aftermarket parts that you can rebuild the motor with to make it bulletproof (or close))
Sorry for the long post,
And Thanks in advance,
Sean
