I finally got to race a Mustang!!!!
I was on my way back to the hotel after the car show in OC MD this weekend. Three guys in a yellow convertible were crusing around looking like they were itching for a race... Their license plate read PMPN8EZ so I didn't think that they would turn down a race.. I was in the far rightt lane and they were in the center lane.. The light in front of us turned red :evil: .. then some a$$ in a honda v-tec jumps in front of me :fist: .. Luckily I was able to cut over to the far left lane and line up against the V-tec and the GT. The traffic on the other side had a left turn arrow so I couldn't tell when I should start to build boost.. After the last car passed through the light I just took the boost guage to 0 and held it there... The light turned and I floored it... In less than 2 seconds I had about 5 car lengths on the GT and about 8 on the V-tec... I just wish that there hadn't been a left hand turn lane so I could have left with 6 lbs or so... Anyway, the driver of the Mustang turned out to be pretty cool.. I let off around 60 and when he cought up his comment was "f-ing AWD".. He acted like he knew that he was gonna loose.. They made a U at the next light and waved as they drove away...
Now I am hungry for more.. that was way too much fun...
