I am so happy now, my typhoon just finished getting a beautiful paintjob. When I first bought this, the custom front bumper was cracked, the cladding had all scratches and the pass cladding was ripped in half. 2 weeks later and it is finished.
I was really impressed with the shop, they did a perfect job. You cannot see one ripple in the paint, and not one single dent. To Top it off it has an awesome glow to it. I am still waiting for my Z06 rims. I have to pic them up on Monday at the post office, now to buy some tires. I am gonna get some Yokohama DNA GP's for them.
Other than that, I still cannot drive the truck too long, because i am waiting for my cvr starter to get here.  My buddy in Charleston sent it priority mail, so it should be here soon.
So far, I only spent about 7600 dollars, that included the cost of the typhoon w/ 65k miles, the paintjob, and the rims that are not installed yet. I did order some new vacuum lines, spark plugs, wires, and a few other things for a complete tune up, before i really go out having some serious fun.
here are some pics. I am sorry they did not come out so well, but it was getting dark out. I am still tinting the rear window, just finished the sides.
well now I have to detail my engine again now.. all the sanding got it dirty. I been reading all about the mods to do, and I do not know where to start yet.....
well you all take it easy, and I hope that starter gets here soon.. Does anyone have any tips on how to change it. I do have the chiltons manual, I would appreciate it. I will take some better pics in the afternoon
