Another PC up for sale that I don't think I'll get around to using. The Xenarc MP-SC8 is especially suited to be a Carputer and even comes with a 12v power supply.

I have installed Windows XP on this system, upgraded it to service pack 3 and installed all hotfixes from http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (if you have a Windows box and don't know what this is, I suggest you visit it and get patched).
This PC will run whatever you can throw at it. It's got a great CPU and lots of memory to run whatever you want. Xenarc is known in the mobile computing industry as a company that is specifically into designing and building PC components for in-car use. They have a variety of touch screens that interface with PC's and can be fit into your dash.
This computer comes with both the AC power cord, and a specific 12V power cord. These are not typical computer power supply cords so you can't just go down to Best Buy and pick one up.
This would be perfect for an in-car PC. Run your movies, Data master, chip burner, whatever you want on this thing and have room to spare. Mount it in the back of the car and take it inside at night and hook it up to your monitor for a home computer.
In the pictures, the back plane looks odd since it's a generic Xenarc piece, that's how they all ship, some models make use of the open holes while others don't.
Note that this PC has both parallel and serial ports on the back. Perfect for scan tools. No need to fiddle with USB to serial converters.
