Still getting to know my truck and any time I find a butt connector in a wiring connection I get a few heebie-jeebies. There is a single wire running from this sensor on the driver side where it then disappears into the factory harness right below the MAP sensor. Given the location, I was figuring it to be a coolant temp sensor, but the wiring diagram suggests that should be a two-wire hookup. The wire coming off of the weatherpack is black, but looks like a third-party wire, and it transitions to dark green at the butt connector until it vanishes into the harness.
Apologies for the garbage lighting, but I figured this was a unique enough component that a crap iPotato pic would work.
