Or something with a little higher than stock stall.
Must be in good shape and reasonably priced.

Thanks,

Re: WTB: Stock torque converter

I have a stock one to get rid of as well. Worked perfect when removed. Shipping will probably be 25-30 bucks, make me an offer I have no use for it.

Wade,

I believe I have my stocker still. I'll check my garage tonight.

Let me know if you want it. If you want to drive out and pick it up or even meet me somewhere....

I'll pm you my number.

Wade I have a stocker too. It's from Jeremy's Sy and went low 12's , and was then removed and flushed. I went with a 9/11 on my trans build so I do not need it. I know you have some others with them too, so if you want it LMK via a PM and we can work out a price.

Re: WTB: Stock torque converter

Hi, just FYI, when I had a tranny rebuilt a while back the guy at the shop suggested a rebuilt converter for a 91-92 vette, he said the stall was about 150 rpm higher than the stock one in the truck, so I put one in and stall is about 150 rpm higher at 10 psi boost.

Works fine and only cost $150, well worth it if you've gone to all the work to pull the tranny. Plus no shipping if you get it from a local tranny shop.

The stock 91-92 Corvette are about 150 rpm tighter than the stock SyTy Converter, The common upgrade was to use 85-86 Corvette or L35/Blazer TC. If it a rebuild stock converter they typically have a 4 digital stick on them that can be decipher for the what stall is.

Re: WTB: Stock torque converter

I too have a higher-stall stock converter I'll sell. The L35 Blazer/Jimmys used this converter. I had it in my ty for awhile. The stall was about 200-300 higher than the stocker. You can have it for shipping from 90260, +25.00.

Dave I want to get this TC with a little higher stall from you.
I'll sent you a PM with my information.

Thanks,

Re: WTB: Stock torque converter

Hi folks,

I am interested in this L35/Blazer torque converter with the higher stall. Can anybody tell me which years the L35 Blazer came with this converter?

Thanks!
