WTB: Passenger Tail Light

Need a passenger tail light. Figured I'd see if anyone here had one they wanted to get rid of before I bought out of network.
EDIT: For a 92 w/ black trim - dunno if there's a difference between 92's and 93's.

TIA.

Re: WTB: Passenger Tail Light

I have many of them. LMK if still in need. Thanks

Would you have any pics by chance or know the conditions of them? It's for the Aspen

Obv the ones that are on there now are pretty mint and want to see if I can find one comparable to the drivers side so that I don't have to replace both of them to get them to "match".

I bought a pair of NOS ones when I still working at Chevy. However, my garage is packed full for winter, and where they are at, I don't know. If you can wait until next month when I get the 2 boats I'm storing out of there, I'll see if I can find them.

No huge rush, as the one on there now is fully functionable, just the trim is f ucked up and the lens itself is scratched and has paint marks all over it. Would at least like to get it replaced by July lol.

Re: WTB: Passenger Tail Light

I have 2 or 3 sets of them. Not new but in good shape. They are packed away in the shed. You can have a set if you would like them.

Send a PM to me if you want them.

There is a difference between the pick up taillights, Syclone, and the blazer, Typhoon taillights. The external shape and how they mount on the tailgate side is different.

Re: WTB: Passenger Tail Light

I just checked my stash, all I have are Syclone housings or one would be on its way N/C. Sorry. Someday I'll have something you need I can give you for all the Carfaxes.

The black / chrome bezel can be gently persuaded to come off, and can be reinstalled on another housing. If your black bezel is useable, it can be transferred to another housing if all you can find is a chrome or no-bezel housing. EDIT: I just saw that it is NOT.

Utility and pick-up have different mounting configurations, and are not interchangeable between the body styles. I just looked at the two lights, and the bezels appear to be the same on both styles.

You have options.

I bought a black-trimmed set of tail lights on here years ago which I put on my '88 S10. When that truck died, I removed them. They now reside on Keith's Typhoon.

I did have to trim the inner edge of them (the right one only, IIRC) to make them fit the S10, but the mounting and bulb assembly fit.

Re: WTB: Passenger Tail Light

Thanks for all the help, and good info here that hopefully will help others in the future as well!

I have an aftermarket set coming that Ibelieve are the same design that I used on the white/grey, should be here today so i will know. May give it an updated appearance. But still will be in need of a stock one just to have and possibly swap back out on.

That being said, I'm not in any HUGE rush to get one. The light is functionable, just looks like shit. I can prob even hold out until Nats.
