I need a new computer for everday stuff,if anyone has a good used one,it needs to have windows ,wireless and have a rs232 port.let me know pm me thanks.

they do sell a RS-232 serial PCMCIA card that just plugs into any PCMCIA slot you know?

i use a company supplied Dell Inspiron 1150 as my everyday and finally got the RS-232 card for it before last Nats.
I convinced them the PCMCIA "card" was for me to be able to connect remotely while I was out of town. lol
It works with Datamaster and ostrich no probs.

with the home programs we do, I have had no luck with adapters.I dont know why some things just dont like them

Yes it has windows XP, a serial port and I think it is a 2.2ghz with 768mb ram. I will verify later today. I also have another one that is a 1.8 with 768mb of ram
