WTB dome light

So I had my headliner re-covered and noticed my dome light housing (base) was melted. I have looked at several places online, all said discontinued item. I would like to buy another OEM housing (base) and lens. Please let me know. Thanks

I could use a lense, but I just pulled a base out of the junkyard that I don't need. PM an address and it's yours.

what about this one. I emailed the guy 3 times. With no response. I dont know the part number of this part. Maybe one of you guys would know if this is the same as what us in our trucks.

Just got a email back from ebay. Guy said it is not the correct part.

Does anyone else have a new housing (base) for my Sy?

I recommend you switch to an LED bulb. That way you can prevent your new lens from yellowing. :2cents:

Found a very nice one in the junk yard. I ended up changing the lens cover, Base, foam tube, and harness. It was kinda a PNTA. to pull everything apart just for two damn wires. But I did not want to cut an splice. The original wires where burnt and the foam tube was dry rotted.

I recommend you switch to an LED bulb. That way you can prevent your new lens from yellowing. :2cents:

X2 on the LED. Dome light melted on the wifes' LeMans. Bought a new one and put an LED in. No more hot light problems.

Do they make LED's in dim yellow to match factory lighting... JK. I like the look of the LED's I just know me. Once I change that one bulb, I will have the dash apart... changing them all. Maybe next weekend I tackle that one.

I got electric blue in courtesy lights and dome lights for my truck. ...alot brighter and more subtle on the eyes....everyone loves the look too....If you wanna pick let me know....
