I am doing a build on my 4.3 as we speak with the target horsepower of around 500. I have a fresh build on my 700R4 with a 3000 Coan stall (both new) but I am afraid I'm on borrowed time with this tranny. I figure I may as well make the conversion now to give myself piece of mind later. I can buy the 4L80 locally, but I am needing a converter, the sy/ty cross member, a longer prop shaft as well as the RPM conversion plate for the transfer case. Before I look elsewhere, I figured I would reach out to my fellow Sy/Ty brotherhood first. Does anyone have anything that I can use available for sale? Also, I will be selling my 700 and the converter if anyone has an interest. The tranny has less than 500 miles on her and the converter is still new in the box and never been installed. I have one of the RPM adapters I would let go of for $100 plus shipping and fees. Not nearly as cool as the Stout74 adapter.
