WRX Sti owned by Ty

Ok so Im coming home tonight and the first thing I see is a third gen camaro, as i pass him I see the 5.7 tuned port emblem on back

. well we catch a light together and totally destroy it with a no boost launch(didnt think I would need to

). So Im happy as a ifinally got a run against something other that the datamaster

, About 5 minutes later what to my wandering eyes

should appear, a blue WRX Sti in front and im pulling up to rear. Well at the next light nothing out of the ordinary happens, same for next light too.
So at the third light I hear his turbo spool-up a tiny bit and he goes(again i did not boost launch)He getsout on me about a car length and then i shot right by him, like it was a saturn

anyways it was a fun drive home.
How fast are those subarus anyway? I always liked them and wa thinking of possibly getting one

I've seen 13.2's, 13.4's.. depends on driver/mods..

Was this in Philly? If so I'm at 501 s. 54th st. the old miscericordia hospital. Stop by the ER sometime, I'll like to see your truck.

Yeah it was in philly, actually it was on harbison avenue.
If I am ever out that way Ill stop inm But rarely ever get out that way

Sti low 13.1-4 If the owner is a descent driver.I have heard of some guys hitting 12.9 stock.
I may buy an sti here down the road, i really miss my 02.Reliabiltiy is a major part of the fun factor.

As soon as I saw that picture I thought of that "Hot Bod" commercial, then I thought of Green at NATS, then I thought about that guy at the beach with shorts so tight that you can see the veins in his nuts (that everybody laughs at yet he keeps on playing frisbee), then I started feeling sick.

it was a short race as the lights in the city are frequent, id say about an 1/8th mile for the race

Raced my STi last Sunday. 13.1 and 13.2 bone stock. 1.81 and 1.78 sixty footers.

no not jj from sti, though i wouldnt mind owning one. i have a brother in the 25th an uncle on highway motorcycle drill team my father in swat my uncle in the marine unit an unce in east detectives an aunt in the 35th and a cousin on highway. used to be more but retired. i was hoping to find someone around me who knows about these trucks.

Good kill on the STi. I am not really sure if he was going all out though. I am a Typhoon and STi owner as well. My stock Typhoon and Stock STi are about even. I haven't had the STi to the track yet, but they feel about the same.
like everyone else said the STi is a 13.1-13.4 car, but i have seen the rare 12.8-12.9. If an STi owner is goin to race you will know it, cause he is going to rev it up to about 4500 maybe even 5K and dump it. You will hear one good chirp out of the tires and it's off like a bolt of lightning.

Good kill though. I am still looking to race an STi in my Typhoon.

i really dont know if he was going all out either, but like you said he did bring the rev's up alot , he may have missed a shift, but i didnt hear it.

i work in the 24th district, if your brother or uncle park in the lot they have probably seen it, BTW I am in 2 sqd
