Governor is like a 5 min job if I remember correctly, just bring some black silicone with ya

Yeah, its not hard to do. I just have to get enough weight on it. Hopefully there is a shop around there close who can hit it with a little more weight in case I don't get enough welded on before I go.

Can't wait for the fun. Maybe I will even replace all my vac lines this year so I will get them run properly for the first time :):):)

Re: Wrenching at Nats?

I received the package from Detroit Turbo just fine.

Dan, your fuel pump and harness are safely awaiting delivery and install.
You are lucky to come to your first Nats already being rewarded before you even leave the house. Find me when you get in and we'll get you all hooked up. Should have enough tools and helping hands to do your fuel pump swap. You might want to pick up the locking ring that locks the sending unit into the tank itself. If we have to hammer it out they can get chewed up. Local GM dealer should have them in stock. And PB Blaster for those fuel lines, damn things are probably fused together with rust.

Scott is a stand up guy for putting this together for you guys.

He also sent a tune up kit: plugs, wires cap n rotor that we might just give to another hard luck 1st time Nats attendee.

I'd also recommend leaving your windows cracked at Nats, providing it does not rain.
Detroit Turbo also sent 5 of the Typhoon fold out posters that are going to be randomly deposited in SyTys around the parking lot.

<Golf Clap for Detroit Turbo>

I'll be in KC by 5pm Thursday, work pending. g'damn I have a lot to do...
