wrench session #2

im thinking about having a wrench session on may 28th at my house in southeren wi.

id like to get at least 5 trucks to show up, (my gf wants to take pics )

i know theres at least 5-10 trucks that need attention in the wi, ill, in, io, mn, area.

so if you want to get some bugs worked out, before nats, and want to wrench on these beasts,

post up here if you can make it.

Do you think we could do a complete repaint on my ty to get rid of the rust where the cladding rubbed through the paint after 185k that afternoon?

Clint, did you see my post about the leaf springs? I can bring 'em up with me. Or I can bring my lowering springs and we can swap them at your place

LS1 brakes are about 30 minutes from being done as I type this.

I had to move some things around but I have all intentions of making it.

I'm going to call Steve Gavic and see if he's gonna show. He lives in Rockford and has been wanting to get together.

p.s. i got the motor out of the sy last night, at 12:20 am:rotf: actually it wasnt all that hard, it was alot easier than my SS:rant: now let the build begin.....

By the whole gang I meant my wife and kids but Dave tells me that Stac is not comin and my kids and wife would not have much to do...

Any other wifes or GFs gonna be there and anything for them to do???

my gf will be here i think, and they could "chat":rotf:

we will have or 6 mo old daughter here too, so women love babies, and "chat"

I have a couple things I could do at your place if we are looking for projects - otherwise I'll do 'em here.

Lowering springs (I have 2" blocks now) and ABS delete. I need to talk to Hood and see about getting a kit from him.

LS1 brakes are done all around. Woohoo.

Yeah - mine weren't working prior to the upgrade. I don't know if I want to spend much more time trying to get them to work.

Will anybody with a datamaster going to be there? i would like to go up there with my buddy and his syclone (Bdubb's old Sy). its just not running up to par and would like to get it looked at by the Pros. if anybody feels up to it we will cruise up there.

I can bring my laptop with me.

The only SyTy I've ever had problems running DM on is Sy 0569 (True Story though)
