Wrecked sy in kingston NY??

I was talking to a friend of mine who supposedly stumbled upon a wrecked sy. Apparently it had been involved in a police chase, and the guy wrecked. (drug dealer) the engine, interior, and most of the truck was fine, just the roof had caved in some. Anybody in that area see, or hear of it???? He was asking around and the guy wasnt ready to get rid of it. Just curious

yeah, one of my buddy's called me about that truck too. He heard about the chase when he was on his way to work. He wanted to know if I knew who owned the truck

ill try to get more info. They guy I was talking to (who is actually more of an aquaintance than a friend) said he wanted it to tear out the drivetrain and swap it into an import of some sorts :roll: Im hoping to get more info, so we can get it to someone who will find a better purpose for it, should the guy decide to sell it.

well I went back to autozone and talked to the guy. He said they found it while driving around. It was sitting in the guys front yard. They knocked on the door asked him if he was interested in selling it. The guy said he has had it for a long time, it has been sitting for a long time also, and he will not sell it. I dont understand why. Its a shame hes gonna let it sit and rot away. Maybe he will die and his family will wanna sell it! :tup:

Ok I know this is an old thread but I completely forgot I had pics and recently stumbled upon them. They arent the greatest, and unfortunately I didnt get pics of the vin tag and I forgot which number it is :roll: . If the pics are too big let me know and i'll resize them or something.

oh and I forgot to mention that I also talked to one of the officers who was involved in the chase. He was behind the lead car. Apparently the driver had borrowed the Sy from a friend of his and decided to take it out after getting loaded. When the copd tried to pull him over he ran and this was the end result. He said one of his shoes was wedged between the door and the cab of the truck :rotf: . He was ejected but survived and still needs two canes to get around.

Ouch. It sounds like two idiots were involved in this fiasco. The one that wrecked the Sy and the one that let it rot away. Both should be staked out on a fire ant hill.:rant:

Is there one part on that truck that is salvageable? Maybe a rim or a piece of bed cladding? That thing is F'd up. :(

if it was some what fixable i could see the guy keeping it but that looks like everything is bent or broken

Um, just TAKE IT. I know it sounds stupid and illegal but it sounds like the best option if someone is just going to sit on this piece of history and not use it. This person doesn't deserve it and it needs to go to a better home where it can be parted out and distributed among the true Syty community.

Eh, I'm just talking about of my ass, this guy just seems like a typical douchebag like the other tool bag in NY that has 92 Sy 0001 and refuses to sell it. Straight up assholes, don't deserve to even know what a Syclone is, no less own them and let them rot into the ground while there are usuable parts on them.

I know someone has to agree with me here at least slightly! What are they going to do if you take it, say "Hey, give me my eye sore back?" **** em, I wish I had a trailer and a truck, I'd be doing illegal things right about now.

...Once again talking out of my ass, but not really.
