It was nice meeting up with everyone yesterday. Sorry we were a couple hours late. For soem reason the address I put into Google maps took us up to 15 mile.So we passed the meeting place at 9:00AM, went to 15 mile, and didn't find any other SyTy's, although we did hear "TYPHOON!" shouted from the side walk several times. We were able to find a lady nice enough to actually look up the address again on her computer and send us back in the right direction.

It took us until about 11:15 to make it back to 11 mile, I don't think I hit the gas at all for that whole part of the drive, just the brake. Probably the slowest drive I have ever made.

It was great to learn more about the Syclones and Typhoon's, mine in particlar.

I really wanted to go over some of the other vehicles there, but I only got to see Merk's. I even forgot to get my camera out of the glove box. It's too bad there was some other sort of car event going on that kept disracting everyone...

It was great meeting you and seeing a Raspberry Typhoon in person! Good luck with the truck, and I hope to see ya next year! Woodward always gets jammed, thats why I always recommend people get there early :).

Sorry I had to leave early guys, had to go into work unfortunatel :(.

I'm sure some people took pictures. We were surrounded when we pulled in. Anna thought it was kind of funny that everyone seemed to run to the open doors to look for paint lines to see if it was real.

Well, there are paint lines from the respray, but it is a REAL one from what we could tell. :tup:

I saw right away that it had been repainted when I got it. I was told it had been repainted by the dealer when it was a year or two old, due to a "paint problem."

Saturday at Woodward I was lucky to be able to talk with John Koss about it. He said they have all probably been repainted. I don't want to misquote him here, but I think what he was saying was that the three Raspberries were the first basecoat / clearcoat paint jobs that Pontiac Assmebly had ever done, and that the clearcoat clouded up on them after they had been exposed to a few rainstorms.

So that kind of jives with the story I was told when I got it.

I hate to say it, but the pancakes family needs a different webhost.. the popups from tripod are horrible. :)

Yeah, I know. But at least I had pictures!!!!! I don't see anybody else posting them!!!!

No I am not. I didn't realize that all I took was Ty pics. There were more Typhoons there than Syclones though, now that I think about it.

If my husband would GET ON THE BALL and fix his Sy, then I could take pics of it. :lol:
