Re: won't go past 10 PSI

sorry for not saying, i have a autometer boostgauge, this can start out of the blue.

Oh today i was very low on gas and was running had and had what felt like lack of fel for a sec and had what felt like ack fire but after that i filled up.

could that have some thing to do with it . should i remove the fuses for the ECM and reset it?

Re: won't go past 10 PSI

did it run as usual or not as strong?

WG-adjustment?
Smoke from exhaust pipe?

Stab it and steer it
Re: won't go past 10 PSI

Based on your mods I assume you have gauges. Did you change the Ultimate setting accidentally? Clogged air cleaner? Leak in the line to the gauge? Blown line to power brake? clogged cat? Prolly more but need I say blown turbo? You can kinda sorta check the turbo by taking the intake ell off and looking in there. Take the turbo to IC line off and check for oil.

Any other symptoms?

Re: won't go past 10 PSI

will start with checking the turbo now, also i still have power but less of it. also would the cat get clogged in 1 drive or does it build up slowly?

Usually the cat cloggs slowly, until one day you are giving all kinds of gas, but can only go 45 mph. A cheap way to check your cat is after a short drive with the engine hot (about 2 miles) look at your downpipe with the engine at idle, check to see if your downpipe is glowing. The other way is the cat will break apart inside and sound like a rattle can if you hit it with your hand.

Re: won't go past 10 PSI

its about a 8lb default. but yes that could be the problem. Check to make sure the vac lines are good.

Do you have a code 31? If you do, the turbo boost cut out relay will shut off all power to the wastegate solenoid.

Re: won't go past 10 PSI

need to learn how to read codes i will look it up tonight, thanks for the idea
But after checking all of the lines and the turbo i out it all back together and pluged the fuses back in after having them out while work on the lines and bamm all is working correctly. :D

so i think it may have been code 31, but its gone now.. how do you think i got it if it was code 31
