Windshield wipers?

Ok...so I was driving my gf back home from the dealership, and it's raining pretty hard. I have my wipers going and they just stop working...totally. I turn them off then back on and still nothing. So then I turn them off for about 5 minutes or so and they come back on. This hasn't happened to me before so i was kind of shocked. Maybe they over heated or something? i dunno. has this happened to any of yall before?

In your case I would say poor ground to the wiper motor. Remove the motor and clean up the mounting tabs and brass clip.

ive got a wiper question: My wipers are on in the correct position but when I enguage them, the pass side wiper goes too far down and strikes the piece before the windshield between the hood and leaves a rubber mark. Ive adjusted that wiper higher and it still likes to kiss; pisses me off. Maybe replace the actual inner wiper motor arms, can that be done?
