window help

i was replacing the weatherstripping today and after the install i rolled the window up and it popped at a certain point and tried to come out of the track any help?

also the bar that goes on the outside of the window didnt go on well it has pop tabs but none of them would pop to anything without alot of bending ??

Sounds like your window guide(s) are boogered up to me. You can see my "how to" here that I wrote after geting guidance from my friend who did auto glass for 16 years told me how to do it. Note that you have to soak the window guides in HOT water before you snap them on or they will crack and "grab" inside the window channel like you are describing.

If the glass "popped" forward then the plastic shoe/guide which holds the window in the rear track probably broke. Cheap part & easy to replace.

i got the new shoe to guide it along the track but after stil having problems we discovered the metal guide was broken anyone know where to get replacements??
