if you push in on the plastic panel into the door and lean you head in above the window crank you can see the E clip on the back side of the handle / crank.
Like DaveP said there is a tool for this purpose but I have done it using a small straight screwdriver at just the right angle.
turn the crank so that you can push the clip off and then watch where it flies to because they usually come off at a high rate of speed...

thanks for the response i ended up playin with it and saw the e clip and got it off with a screw driver and yes i hit a big mental block trying to name the crank handle
