will I run into trouble???

I found a set of corvette saw blade rims a guy is selling in town for cheap, 2 are 17x9 the other 2 are 17x10 now Im just gonna use them for the track with either some DR's or green dot's with 245x45's on them.. the ??? is can I run those tires on the 10 inch rim are they to big of a rim for that size tire, the other ??? if it does fit will the wheel diameter be same so I dont blow up my front diff I just wanna make sure.... I did look through the search but got nothing specific....

this thread has alot f useful information in it , i had the same question awhile back , this should help you understand tire sizes , i taught me alot.
