Going to install an Innovative LM-1 wideband O2.

Do I need to go through the pita of pulling my dp and having another bung welded on for the new sensor, or can I just put replace the old sensor with the new one?

Re: wideband hookup ?

If you run open loop chip you can replace old one.

The LM-1 has narrowband simulation, which you could input into ECM on teh narrow band side also, as alternative.

My chip is open loop so just unhook the stock o2 and slap in the wideband!

I believe they do not recogmend running the sensor that close to the turbo, I put mine farther downstream.

I've ran my LM-1 WB sensor for two years in the stock location with no problems.

I'm not running a cat and have a straight through muffler on my truck with the wideband....we just drilled and welded an extra bung in at my local muffler shop without removing anything....I just shielded the mig sparks from going everywhere....

My plx recommends not to expose the sensor to temps more than 850 degrees celcius if that means anything....
