I want to pull my rims and strip them before nationals. I've got the aircraft stripper and a bucket to dip them in. What else can you guys recommend?? How about recoating? Or polishing? Any info appreciated.

I had mine Polyurethane Powdercoated Mirror Silver which looks *almost Chrome/Polished Aluminum* but not quite. The guy who did it recommended to clearcoat it with their Poly. Powdercoat because if you just run a fingernail on this 'Silver it'll show up as "pencil lead" streaks...so I went ahead with the clear knowing that the "chrome" look would be gone. It now looks like a "factory" silver paint which are on most OEM silver painted rims...

If I could afford them!! You're back on the 18th right?? When you get back I'll have my IC lines done and maybe have air shocks all the way around. I'm considering lowering the front end also, so that way I can pull in somewhere, pull a plug, and dump the air so the Phoon is LOW. Then hit another switch and pump myself to ride height. Sounds mexican but should be fun! I'm headin to Sidney tomorrow and Keith is helpin me out...should be a good time....Enjoy that vacation!!
