i havent really driven mine much since June. Its went to a few shows over the summer, but its been sitting since September, its now covered with leaves and sticks and branches and just generally dirty :lol:

Hehehehe, mine is parked at the end of my driveway, no steering box, so I can't even tow it down to the shop... perhaps I'll go put that in now.
No engine in it yet, but I did get everything back from the machine shop yesterday, and assembly starts now!
As long as my Buick holds up, I'll drive that during the winter.

My black TY doesn't get out much. But my green Ty was my DD till it broke.
If it was running, I'd be driving it till they put salt on the roads, then it would go into the barn till spring rains washed the salt away.
Do they use a lot of salt on the roads up there? Sometimes it seems there is more salt on our roads than snow!

Mine gets driven between the garage and the car port mostly since the inspection sticker has been dead for ~2yrs now. I was feeling criminal/lucky a few weeks ago and drove it a couple hours down I-81 and back to test some trans work with the dump open, expired tags, dead inspection sticker, etc just for the hell of it. For once I didnt even see a cop let alone get pulled over :shrug: .
Other than sitting at home or annoying the neighbors every couple of weeks or so when I take it to the local car wash to get the bird poop (car ports suck), lady bugs, and cob webs washed off it I dont drive it much at all .
Like Tony I wonder at times why I even own it but then again I cant part with it either.....

im gonna drive mine till the heavy snow flys,which in N.E.could be any day...
mines been away for a few months,iv only had it back for a few weeks and iv put 2500+ miles on it!!

mine was my only vehicle till it broke, so i bought my s-10. my ty hasn't been driven since the end of july. but i 'm glad i bought my beater even though it looks like a PG&E work truck.
i'm still itchin to get off of my butt and start working on it but it might rain soon here.

They don't use salt in AK. There is a chemical they spray on the streets that sort-of melts the snow and ice. Aside from that, they just spread dirt on the roads. There is always enough ice/snow left on the roads in the winter that you can't see pavement though.MICH TY said:

Right this minute the Sy is up on jack stands for a front driveline inspection and a small water leak. Otherwise, usually, during winter here in northern Cal it still gets driven once or twice a month on good days just to see if everything turns.
After a slew of trips down the 1/4 mile this year it needs a little TLC so this winter I have a list of minor mods/upgrades to do before next spring which will curtail the usual fun so we’ll see.
