where to find bed cover buttons

Im in need of the buttons that slide in the rails for a syclone, I need like 17 of them and gmc does not sell them, pep boys has no idea what is going on and i really dont know where else to go, any of you guys have a source for these, I have had the truck about 2 months and was hoping to put on the new bed cover i bought but no luck finding the buttons. thanks

I would check local auto upholstery shops.

the stock cover is made by extang. i would start here as there is a number to the factory. surely they would sell you some.

summit racing is a distributor of the cover. they might have what your looking for, but not as good a chance as above.

i wanted one that was close to flush, decided on jcwhitney's special but its primed and needed paint. i was thinking about this too, but decided against it. i cant give you a + or - on it, sorry.

Only problem is with that place's that sell the stock replacement above is that the snaps are plastic and come unsnapped very easily.

When your in your quest for finding them, ask for metal, unless you just done care and want snaps. But it will save you headache's in the future to just try and find the metal ones now and be done with it.:tup:

Stock cover was made by Luxus not Extang

if you are looking just for the snaps that slide on the rails i should be able to help you out.

shoot me an e-mail with a picture of your snaps and i'll compare them to what i have.

If I remember correctly, the part number is written on the inside of the cover somewhere...get in there and take a peak..may help.
