Wheel center cap removal tool???

Anyone know where you can buy a center cap removal tool? No tool was in the glove box when I purchased the truck.

Isn't that still available from g.m.? I think it is also a corvette center cap tool?Might want to check with the dealership and get a new one.

Their are different patterns, they typically the look like clovers, so you know how many leafs it has.

You can still get them from McGard, althoughyou may have to send in the lug for them to match. They also will loan one out to you.

i'm pretty sure he's talkin bout the security bolt on the centercap not the lugs

Either way, if you stencil the pattern, or send in the actual bolt they can provide you with a new key for the security bolt.

The keys come in lug nut form (to fit a lug wrench) , or similar to the original factory style.

Been there done that...

there like 200 bucks from gm. 8 bucks from mcgard atleast it was 4 me cuple years ago. theyre all different so stencil it like some one just said i got all new bolts and a key for 15$ shipped from them .

Just a FYI, these are the dimesions of the locks:

Thread size 10mm X 1.50
Length 1.30"
Head diameter .620"
Flat seat
