To someone looking at actual vehicle value and worth (resale, insurance, etc), stock unmolested all day.
To someone who has the mindset to daily drive, race, and enjoy their shitbox, then you HAVE to mod it (reliability mods are included, cause it isnt stock anymore) in order to keep it running correctly.

My view on this is buy a vehicle you can drive. When I bought my SY, I looked for one that needed no body work and had most of the reliability mods done. I flew to pick it up and drove 2500 miles back home. No issues. It was a great experience and was worth some extra $$ to me. Also here in Calgary, if you need any work done, the labour rate is $85-110 per hour. That’s my 2 cents worth.
I look at the value of these trucks higher than average. Its only because they are not in vogue that keeps the price down. Unfortunately.

Nothing. You have everything most people who are looking to mod a truck wants. You have a desirable truck that will appeal to a larger audience over the stock purists.

12k is not unreasonable for a clean truck with well done mods and lower mileage. The market "turn" might be a long wait..no one knows for sure. You could always post on ebay with a reserve of 12k.

Condition being equal, Modded SyTy's are worth less than an untouched original, unless the included components are extensive, and desirable to the purchaser.
60K miles is not necessarily "low" mileage. I've seen vehicles with 15,000 miles that were beat or crusty from storage conditions. You say nothing about condition. I've seen 150K mile trucks that appeared as-new. I recently sold a vehicle with 285K to a member here. He claims its the best used-car he's ever owned.
You don't say anything about engine work. Like 4-bolt caps, upgraded rods, or forged pistons.
IF it has ~60,000 miles on the stock engine, with those power-enhancing mods, it's a freaking ticking time bomb. It may last another 60K, or may blow up on the way home with the new owner. Wouldn't be the first time.
Here's the crux of the argument that mods reduce value:
I know from watching here for 15+ years, that bigger turbos, meth, and "tuning enhancement" has a steep learning curve, and often results in unintended engine damage from detonation. Personally, I don't trust ANY engine that has had "tuning changes". Doesn't mean I won't buy it, it means that I will consider the probability that the engine has been damaged, and needs repairs or work. That REDUCES value, regardless of mileage.
You asked for opinion, here's mine. I wouldn't consider it at any price, other than to flip. To make a flip worth considering, the acquisition price has to be at least 30-50% lower than the mean selling prices of comparable Typhoons.
And my parting shot: Typhoons are hard to sell compared to Syclones. They just aren't sought after like Syclones are.

I gotcha I'm new to all of this its a very recent purchase on my behalf from a friend that has had it in storage for a few years i feel this vehicle is ove my head and that I should go ahead and let it go to someone with more knowledge base than me. My opinion isn't what matters it's the purchaser but I think it's a solid running vehicle in great condition for year and milage. But thanks for all your input I'll see what I can do with it now.
