Thanx dude! That's a pretty exact number you got. Did you have yours weighed at the post office or weigh station?

Mine was 3,550lbs. That was a long time ago so I don't remember how much fuel was in the tank.

3550 pounds here also with 1/2 tank or gas. I weighed it on the scales at the dragstrip. BTW, if you pull your spare, jack and tailgate you'll drop 90 pounds and better you ET by one tenth for free. You'll also increase your trap speed by 1 mph.

Since I bought my truck out of state, the CA DMV Nazi's make you weigh your truck since they consider it a commercial vehicle and your registration fees are based in part on how much you weigh (how much damage you'll do to the highway). So it was a certified scale at a farm feed store.

Damn, I'm getting ripped off! My state charges me fees based on 3930 lbs.

Tooky

Serious about performance
It's incredible how little variance there is in weights. My Sy weighs in at 3530 with 1/2 tank gas.

Uh.. why is that incredible? If all things are equal, then well.. all things are equal. Did you think that there were some lighter factory Syclones running around? Maybe some got a few extra bolts tossed into the frame rails??

hey daron - stead of pissing on tooky every time he comments, cut him some slack - what's your problem, anyway?

I am sick and tired of Tooky's editorials in the technical forums. When he has nothing to add he adds stupid shit like the above.

Listen guys... I dont really have a prob with either of you... Aint none of my business BUT Im feeling pissy this AM so...

As far as what tooky has to add or subtract from a particular post... Its no where NEARLY as annoying (IMO) as seeing fifty bazillion posts on what freakin head lights to use or what offset ZR-1s to buy..

Daron, you know your syty stuff. I know that, tooky knows that, most everyone else thats been on the board for a while knows that. Hell, I think youre pretty damn smart myself but Im an idiot so what I think don mean squat to most ppl..

Tooky, you caught on quick IMO to the syty stuff and help everyone else you can. Yeah, you pick some stuff to death or over engineer some things but I write novels, cant spell worth a crap, and am generaly just a grumpy old SOB so who gives a flyin flip. People will just have to get over it.

Whats the point??? Cant you guys just get along??? At least for a little while???

Yeeeesh...
