What to specify when asking for Taylor Plug Wires?

I called (rather than ordering on-line) Summit Racing about the Taylor Plug Wires to see if there was anything specific I should ask for (good thing too)! And the guy on the other end starts asking me things like

(1) "Do you want terminated or un-terminated ends?" I assumed that I want terminated ends, because I'm not mechanically inclined enough to terminate my own ends.

(2) "What angle do you want the plug ends?" Right about then I determined I didn't know enough to order the plug wires, so I figured I'd consult the BB first.

So what DO I need to ask for when ordering??? HELP?!?!?

Understood, but I already have the part #, the color and the manufacturer (courtesy of sytyauthority.net)... What I don't know about is the length's, ends, angles, etc.

Truckless. For now.
well, i don't know about the taylors, but when I ordered the accels using Jas' part number listed, the set came with the appropriate ends/lengths, etc. That's why the part numbers are there. to save us the trouble. :) I assume the taylors are the same, just ask for that part number the color you want, and that will get you the correct set with the correct lengths/ends.

That is the # on my box of taylors, I called gave them the part # and that was that. They are preterminated and have 2 straight and 4 90 degree plug ends. I bought the red ones, I don't like them they seemed to cause problems bought 2 sets at the same time and had bad wires in each and they are to long but thats what you get for not making your own custom set. Good luck.

Seriously, for those interested I do stock the Taylor Spiro-Pros in any color you'd like. I have one set of black right now, but will get another shipment in next week.

Just call me if interested.

What everyone else said... That part number is for the custom kit for our trucks. Just order that number, and you're all set.

race or get outta the way
couple things here
the ones that are to long... undo the cap end and shorten the wire, just be carefull and neat with your crimper and you can adjust the lengths.

If you have headers the custom set wont work cuz your gonna want all the plug ends to be 90 degree.

there isnt much to putting your own ends on especially if you want the lenghts to be exact so that when installed it looks neatly done.

just my 2cents worth.

taylor makes these heat protector boots that can keep you from frying your wires near hot exhaust stuff.
