Any ideas? I cannot find mine anywhere. I called the dealership to see about a replacement but they have been discontinued.

Have what card? Small flat head? Mine looks like a 12 point socket. Maybe there were different keys, you you cut a line in yours lol?

IIRC there are only four patterns used on our trucks....send a picture to McGuard and they will send you a new one. If you can post a pic I am sure someone can tell you the number to make getting a new one that much easier.

I had my key stolen when my garage was robbed two years ago. I can't remember the name of the company, but I got the contact info here @ syty.net. I paid 14 bucks for the key and it was shipped the day I paid for it. I'll try and find the info when I get a chance. DO a search with my name, maybe you can find it? I'll look later

No, a separate sticker that says McGard Corporation on the back side of the glove box DOOR.

It will have a part number listed on the middle of it.

How would a flat head get it out, just like hammer the flat head counter clockwise until it spins out?

I would assume that drilling would be easier/quicker?
Or find some type of putty or something that you could put on the end of a screwdriver/driverhead/etc and twist it out? Assuming it hasn't been in there so long that it's "locked" in. :2cents:

Weld a nut onto it and use a socket to unscrew it.

Flat head and a hammer will work,or call Mcgard.it 's a Vette key.

Use a socket that just barely fits (may have to gently tap it) around the circular portion of the lock.

It isn't locked, I had it off about a week ago, but I cant figure out what I did with the key, it could be in my other tool box. But I'd like to have a replacement key just incase.

These are not fun to drill out, I had to do it last year.
