NHSTE - I'm the only one!
think this is the right place
Picked up a new spare tire for $10 bucks the other day, brand new silver shiny rim and a good tire (mine has 2500 miles on it and it's rusty/greasy
).
Question is, what is the maximum difference in spare height to tire height that the transfer case can handle? It's a T155/90-D16 (stock is T145/80 D16), about 2.25" taller than the stock tires. I'm going to be running 275/40 R17's. Just want to be safe... if I can't use it, I'll take the old one, powdercoat the rim and get a new tire
