what size alternator should i get?

needs to run, aquamist kit, jabsco pump off the back of the alternator, big stereo with cap, and i have a crank underdrive pulley. and if anyone has a part number that would be great too!

How bout it?
I have a 180 amp. With Spal IC fans and H4 Headlights. Also my voltage doesn't drop during a track run anymore. I paid $145.99 shipping included. Also no reclocking required.

Summit has a 140 amp upgrade kit for about $90. I'd personally prefer 180 amps for a few bucks more. Dameon, do you have a part number and source info? I think its what we're all looking for :) I reall dont want to pay what Streetwires is charging.

I have a 105 Amp..

With my subwoofer going while sitting idle at a stoplight the voltage drops pretty quick and if i don't rev a little bit to get the RPM's up and its cold out i will stall.

Id recommend a bigger amp to anyone..

I have a stocker rebuilt to a 160Amp. I have ramcharger dual electric fans, and a red top optima. My voltage looks good in the dash guage at cruise, but at a stop it drops to the half mark. Anyone know how accurate the voltage guage is in the dash?

No, it is not exactly the same as the stocker.
Although, I believe (haven't done it myself) that it can be re-clocked to match the stocker.

However, remember that the Alternator has to have an offset plate, where the holes R not 180 Deg from each other. Most all the ones I see in Summit have 180 Deg (directly opposite) clocking.
